Thanks to Diane Wachal Morissette we cl

My name is Janice Bernardin and I am very excited about joining the Christ the King community as the role of grade 7 & 8 math, science and religion teacher.

Immediately upon graduation, I taught grade 10 – 12 pre-calculus mathematics at St. Mary’s Academy for one year while the math teacher was on sabbatical. The following year I went to St. Maurice where I spent the next six years teaching grade 7/8 math and science. I was also responsible for organizing the annual grade 7/8 science fair.

In the summer of 2000, our first of three children was born so I stepped out of the classroom and for the next 15 years, I worked from home as a private tutor specializing in high school pre-calculus and applied mathematics. I also enjoyed volunteering as a science fair judge at the annual St. Boniface Diocesan High School science fair.

I am looking forward to this next chapter of my life and the return to Catholic Schools. In particular I am grateful for the warm welcome I have already received. It is very evident to me that this school values high academic standards and solid faith development. I am eager to be a part of your child’s educational journey in September!
